DuPont Nomex IIIA meets NFPA 1975 for firefighters stationwear and ASTM F-1506 standard for work wear as protection from electric arc exposure. Nomex III-A complies with NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace and with NFPA 2112 Standard on Flame-Resistant Garments for Protection of Industrial Personnel Against Flash Fire. Workrite Nomex IIIA Bomber Jacket consists of 93% Nomex (Inherently flame-resistant meta-aramid fiber), 5% Kevlar (High Strength para-aramid fiber), and 2% P140 (Static dissipative fiber).
