MSA Solaris Multigas Detector Industrial Kit

The cost-effective 34 liter Econo-Cal calibration cylinder and fixed flow regulator provides an economical means to calibrate the MSA Solaris detector.
This MSA gas detector comes with either a rechargeable lithium ion or alkaline battery packs. The rechargeable lithium ion batteries offer over 14 hours of continuous operation and get fully recharged in less than four hours. The alkaline battery versions operates for 12+ hours using three AA batteries within easy-access housing.
MSA Solaris Detectors can be equipped to detect presence of O2, H2S, CO, H2S and combustible gases. The combustible gas sensor in the Solaris Multigas Detector is the MSA 20L Series sensor that provides up to 50 times the silicone poison tolerance compared competitive sensors. Patented MSA button sensors are used to detect CO and H2S and are easy to maintain and replace.The Solaris unit uses a single-gas-specific sensor for each gas that it is configured to detect.The Solaris unit does not use a "combination sensor" to detect multiple gases with a single sensor.
Superior display features simultaneous gas concentration display, backlighting for easy reading in low light settings, and an alphanumeric message bar.It comes in a rubberized armor coated case that helsp ensure protection from liquids and dust. It has been tested to an ingress protection rating of IP65, demonstr ating its ability to continually perform in the harshest environmental conditions. The rubberized shell of the MSA Solaris multgas detector helps to absorb impact if the unit is accidentally dropped.The Solaris unit is assembled using metal screws and metal inserts. This increases the overall durability of the instrument and helps to ensure that it can be easily disassembled and re-assembled without sacrificing the integrity of the housing.
MSA Solaris detectors feature a triple-alarm system - super-bright LED lights that are visible from all angles, a user-selectable green LED flashes once every 15 seconds to let workers know that the instrument is working properly, distinct audio alarm which typically measures in excess of 100 dB at a distance of one foot, and a strong vibrating alarm.
The Solaris Multigas Detector comes with a two-year, all-inclusive warranty.
MSA Solaris gas detectors are compatible with the Galaxy® Automated Test System that provides automatic testing, calibration, and record keeping, thus helping to reduce human error. Test records can be easily accessed through network or stored on a memory card for retrieval as needed.
