MSA’s 475407 Skullgard hard hat is great for industries where high temperatures are common, such as steel mills. It can resist high temperatures up to 350°F and still retain its protective qualities. With the Fas-Trac suspension it can be easily and quickly adjusted for custom personal comfort. This heat resistant hard hat is considered heavy-duty due to its construction. Type 1 (top impact) rated and compliant with ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 (Class G) as well as meeting the voluntary standard for low temperature [LT].
