The Advantage 3100 is a single-port full-face respirator, suitable for use in gas, oil and petrochemical industries, plus construction, agriculture and other consumer fields. Belongs to the MSA 3000 Series Full-facepiece Respirators, along with its cousin - the twin-port Advantage 3200 respirator. Use this facepiece with gas mask canisters or with PAPR kits.
Advantage 3100 Single-Port Respirator from MSA
The MSA Advantage 3000 Series 3100 is a full-face respirator with one cartridge port. The Advantage 3100 is designed to aid in worker's performance with reduced breathing resistance, a nose cup that decreases fogging, and a comfortable silicone facepiece. This full mask respirator features a choice of two harnesses - a rubber harness with adjustable straps and a new European-style Advantage harness. The wraparound lens of the Advantage 3100 respirator is scratch-resistant and and is designed for optical correctness, to avoid visual distortions and enhance visibility.
Like the Advantage 4100 respirator facepiece, the 3100 respirator has a single port opening and can be used with various adapters (sold separately). The MSA Advantage 3100 exceeds the ANSI Z87.1 performance requirements and meets the NIOSH standards. It can be used in cases of chemical and hazardous materials exposure, agricultural and construction applications, as well as in oil, gas, paper & wood production, plus mining and nuclear industries.
