Class II Hi-Viz Vests
Class 2 High Visibility Vests are intended to be worn by workers in environments with higher risk and in cases where better visibility is necessary due to bad weather and/or low-light conditions. Class II Hi-Viz vests are well-suited for workers who have to perform tasks without paying acute attention to the approaching traffic. By the ANSI 107-2004 standard, Class 2 Hi Viz Vests are geared for workers in close proximity to passing vehicles traveling at 25 to 50 miles per hour. For example, workers who use a Class II high visibility vest include road construction personnel, railroad inspection and maintenance workers, surveying crews, school crossing guards, toll gate personnel, airport ground crew and baggage handlers, ER crews, police and traffic regulators, utility workers, trash collection crews and more.
