3M 6002 Acid Gas Cartridges
3M 6000 Series cartridges feature a low-profile design that helps maintain a good field of vision. These 3M cartridges can be used in a variety of workplace applications, including petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, construction, transportation and electronics.
3M 6002 Cartridges are NIOSH approved against acid gases: chlorine, hydrogen chloride, and sulfur dioxide or chlorine dioxide or hydrogen sulfide. They can be used interchangeably with 3M Reusable Respirators 6000, 7000 and FF-400 Series with bayonet style cartridge holders.
When properly fitted, these cartridges provide respiratory protection from certain acid gases at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or 50 times PEL with full facepieces.
