3M Breathe Easy PAPR Blower 520-17-00, Intrinsically Safe
3M Breathe Easy PAPR blower assembly 520-17-00 is used on 3M Breathe Easy Systems with certain 3M headgear and appropriate filters (cartridges) to provide a NIOSH approved system for respiratory protection against certain acid gases, organic vapors and airborne particulate contaminants including dusts, fumes, mists, radionuclides and asbestos.
3M 520-17-00 PAPR Assembly includes the 3M Motor Blower 022-00-03R01, Battery Pack BP-17IS, Belt 520-02-90R01 and Airflow Indicator 520-01-21. The battery pack that comes with this 3M PAPR device should only be used with Organic Vapor (A), Acid Gas (E), Ammonia/Methylamine (K), Organic Vapor/Acid Gas (AE), and HE (P3) cartridges and canisters.
A complete 3M Breathe Easy PAPR system should includes a turbo blower, appropriate respirator headgear assembly, breathing tube assembly, battery and appropriate filter (cartridge, canister).
